Willard Jack Trucking, Inc., a division of Silent Shade Planting Company, was originally founded in 1982 to service the grain hauling needs of Silent Shade Planting Company. Our mission at Willard Jack Trucking is to safely and efficiently provide hauling services for our customer base in the Mississippi delta and Silent Shade Planting Company in a timely manner and at competitive prices. Over the years, the company expanded and grew. Today, WJT stands alone amongst its competition as a Mississippi delta-based company with 40 years of history in the trucking business. We are a second generation, family-owned business. We keep a diverse set of trailers, which equips us to service all of our customer’s needs – big or small!

Our Staff
We have a full-time truck dispatcher with 40 years of experience available from early morning to late at night to schedule hauling. Every time you call Willard Jack Trucking, you are guaranteed to speak to the same person who knows you and understands your business.
We also maintain a full-time safety and compliance officer on staff. She handles orientation of new employees and continued safety training throughout the year. Our drivers take a defensive driving course annually and participate in online training monthly. We maintain up-to-date driver qualification files and a random drug program.
Our Drivers
Each driver has at least two years of commercial driving experience and a tanker endorsement. We have several drivers on staff with TWIC cards. Our drivers participate in our random drug program administered by MEA drug consortium. We update their motor vehicle records annually to ensure they maintain a clean driving record both on and off work. Our drivers hustle and make our customers their priority. When hiring, we not only look at their driving record but also their customer service skills.
